Welcome July: A reason to celebrate each and every day!

June was jam packed with so much fun in and out of the studio, and July looks to be heading in the same direction! We have so much in store for this month and can't wait to share it with you all. Continue reading to find out more about special events, our guest teacher from Norway, and to learn more about our amazing teacher of the month, Hannah Brooks!

Lost and Found

Do you seem to be missing your favorite water bottle or go-to sweatshirt? It's probably at the studio! Next time you are there, please check the lost and found for your goodies. We will be taking anything that is left over to the Gold Mine at the end of the month.

4th of July

If you are planning to attend class on Monday, July 4th, make sure to register beforehand! We will only be offering two classes, 8am (HOT) and 9:30am (Body + Soul Refresh). All other classes are cancelled to celebrate the holiday.


Full Moon Sound Bath

with Hanna Curran

Join us for singing bowls and sound medicine around the full moons with Hanna. She will begin with pranayama (breathwork), asana, and meditation to drop students into a state of deep relaxation.

This is a journey to energetically align through sound vibration and frequency. Not to be missed! Come get cozy and let your mind go...

Goddess Flow (Prenatal Yoga)

with Kelsey Schubert

Join Kelsey for her last Goddess Flow before her little bundle joins us in August!

During this class, expecting mothers are given the opportunity to join in community and discuss the wonderful and challenging chapter that is pregnancy. After our opening, Kelsey will lead the group in a gentle flow that helps to give mothers the ability to listen to their body, trust their intuition, and gain excitement for the many things to come!

This class is open to mothers who are currently pregnant and to those are trying to conceive as well.

Class will begin with a 15 minute discussion followed by 45 minutes of mindful asana.

Yoga in the Preserves!

FREE Yoga Classes in Partnership with the Wood River Land Trust

The second of four FREE classes to be offered this summer will take place on Saturday, July 16th at the Colorado Gulch Preserve at 9:30am.

Gabby Rivelo will be teaching this class!

Future dates include:

August 20th with Jacqui Terra

September 17th with Danielle Fuller

This series is meant to engage our community with the beautiful landscapes that we get to call home. Plan to walk the preserve after class to take it all in!

Yoga Workshops

with guest teacher, Jessica Winderl

Joining us all the way from Norway, Jessica Winderl, is an ERTY500 and Ayurveda Yoga Therapist. She is the founder of the Atman Yoga School and runs 200 and 300 hour yoga teacher trainings across Norway. She can also be found teaching at festivals in both Europe and the US.

Jessica will be teaching TWO workshops in July and you will want to sign up for both ASAP!

Breath + Beats // Saturday, July 23rd 3-5pm

A meditation, vinyasa, and dynamic breathwork workshop that is a practice in powerful energy medicine. Start class with a centering Sankalpa meditation followed by a fluid vinyasa practice set to deep vibrational soundtrack. Experience dynamic breathwork that is designed to deepen your connection to prana, clear stale energy, and strengthen the bond between the physical body and the spiritual body.

Mandala Flow // Sunday, July 24th 11:30am-1:30pm

This all-levels vinyasa workshop will explore fluid and dynamic movement, and use a ladder sequence to build up to a full mandala vinyasa, flowing 360 degrees around the mat. Creative sequencing connected to breath allows our asana practice to become a powerful embodiment of our intention. An optional arm balance will be incorporated into the flow.

Cost: $40 per workshop OR $70 for both

July 2022 Teacher Spotlight

Hannah Brooks

Hannah is one of our most versatile teachers! She can teach a sweaty, kick butt sculpt class, an amazingly creative vinyasa, and the most relaxing and nourishing mobility class you have ever taken. Plus when she's not at the studio, she's kicking butt in the real estate world! If you haven't taken one of Hannah's classes, she truly teaches something for everyone!

How did your yoga journey begin?

My yoga journey stared freshman year of college in Boulder, Colorado when a local Bikram studio offered 30 days of yoga for 30 dollars. A friend convinced me to try it and after those 30 days I felt a profound shift, was totally hooked, and knew I wanted to explore more.

How has yoga played a part in your prep for your wedding this summer?

Yoga continues to teach me the importance of remaining in the present, which has helped tremendously with wedding prep this summer. Even with a small wedding, there are lots of little details to iron out, especially with family traveling across the country to join us. I practice staying present in the fun and love of what the day is all about, and enjoying all of the little moments in the process of planning our special day.

If you could teach one dharma right now, what would it be and why?

In this crazy time in the world, I think it’s important to remember to practice kindness. It may sound simple, but is extremely powerful when practiced both toward ourselves and others. It can require courage and strength to be kind, but it has the power to uplift, inspire, and create a positive sense of connection through our shared humanity. Yoga teaches us about the space between reaction and response. We can all make the choice to respond with kindness, no matter how small the act may seem, in order to foster healthier relationships and a greater sense of peace in our lives.
