Welcome! Whether you’re new to yoga or simply new to GATHER, we look forward to practicing with you.


Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to park, sign in and get settled.


Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows for full range of movement. Layers are good.


Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach. Avoid eating for at least an hour prior to class. If you must eat, choose something small and easily digestible.


Bring a mat if you have one. The studio is equipped with mats and props that are free for your use during class. Eco-friendly Manduka mat rentals are available for $2 (included free with drop-in price). We also sell a variety of Manduka mats in our boutique. We do offer small towels for use during class and the boutique carries Manduka “skidless” yoga mat towels if you find you want one.


Ditch your shoes, socks, quiet your phone, and leave your worries. Your personal belongings may be safely left in our studio during classes. All you need is a mat and an open mind.


Let the teacher know that it’s your first class. Always let the teacher know of any injuries, limitations, or concerns.


Enjoy your conversations with friends and teachers, but do so quietly so that others may enjoy their visit as well. May your experience at GATHER be positive, both on and off the mat! Please tell us how we can improve or make the experience even better.
